The Washington University NF Center and St. Louis Children’s Hospital invite you to attend our upcoming Club NF event, a FREE therapy and educational program for children with NF1.

Join us after the Go! St. Louis Read, Right&Run marathon* in St. Louis Forest Park on Saturday, April 9, for a morning of outdoor activities includingpotato sack races, hula hooping and tug of war, which are focused on helping your child develop the following skills:

  • Gross motor skills, including running, jumping and balancing. Activities that use large muscle groups strengthen underdeveloped muscles and improve cardiovascular function
  • Social skills, which can enable your child to speak in a group, initiate conversation, make eye contact, and boost confidence

At the conclusion of the activities portion of the event, we will enjoy a picnic lunch, which will be provided for all family members in attendance.
