In collaboration with Dr. Mohamed Abdelbaki in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology, we at the Washington University NF Center have initiated a virtual International Tumor Board to discuss the management of children and adults with NF.
In these quarterly meetings, we come together to take advantage of the expertise of the dedicated specialists who participate, including those in Adult and Pediatric Neurosurgery, Adult and Pediatric Oncology, Adult and Pediatric Neurology, Neuropathology, and Otolaryngology.
Currently, 32 hospitals from 23 different countries in the Middle East, Europe, Australia, and South America are participating. We are excited to work with these doctors to improve the care of individuals with NF worldwide.
