Children and young adults with NF1 and SWN are seen at St. Louis Children’s Hospital by a core NF care team composed of neurologists, a pediatric nurse, and an occupational therapist. During the clinic visit, a thorough evaluation is performed, which includes assessment for developmental delays, behavior and learning issues, and NF-related neurological problems.
