Jit Chatterjee, PhD recently joined the research laboratory of NF Center Director, David H. Gutmann, MD, PhD, as a postdoctoral research fellow. Dr. Jit completed his graduate training at Mangalore University in India, where he investigated radiation-induced brain cell dysfunction in mouse models.
Over the next few years, Dr. Jit will be studying the role of immune system, specifically T cells, in experimental optic glioma models to understand how T cells control pediatric brain tumor development and growth.
