Alice Bewley recently joined the research laboratory of NF Center Director, David H. Gutmann, MD, PhD, FAAN as a graduate student research assistant. Alice received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Lyon College in Arkansas prior to pursuing a Master’s Degree in Biostatistics at Washington University in St. Louis. In the Gutmann laboratory, Alice will be using a variety of bioinformatic techniques to study the mutational effects of the NF1 gene in cancer.
