Club NF
The Neurofibromatosis Center at St Louis Children’s Hospital is proud to provide a quarterly series of family-focused, educational programs for children with NF1! Learn how engaging in everyday activities can have therapeutic benefits for children with NF1 who are in kindergarten-8th grade.
Our Spring Club NF session will be held on Saturday May 12 & 19, 2012 at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. We will focus on developing fine motor skills through gardening. We will be planting our own gardens and participating in many other exciting activities. In addition, Nicole Weckherlin, OTR/L will talk to parents about how to optimize iPAD/iPhone app usage for children with NF1 while Jennifer Brandt from St. Louis Children’s Hospital Child Life will talk to parents about raising children with NF1.
For more information on upcoming Club NF events or to make a reservation, contact the Team NF program coordinator, Taylor Ferguson at fergusont@neuro.wustl.edu.
