Cynthia J. Campen, MD, Pediatric Neuro Oncologist and Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology and Neurological Sciences at Stanford University, traveled to St. Louis in April to learn more about the NF Center’s approach to providing exceptional care through groundbreaking research.
Exciting New Mouse Model of NF1-MPNST Established
Dr. Angela Hirbe and her colleagues at the Washington University NF Center have created a new mouse model for malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNSTs). Dr. Hirbe plans to use this new model to discover and evaluate new drugs to treat these deadly cancers.
