The Neurofibromatosis Center research
ch team is composed of Washington University School of Medicine clinical and basic science researchers from fifteen diverse departments, whose collective expertise is focused on the study of NF.
The Washington University NF Center is directed by David H. Gutmann, MD, PhD, an internationally recognized expert in basic science and translational research focused on NF, as well as the clinical care of children and adults with NF.

Clinical and basic science researchers at the NF Center work together as a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team to gain a complete understanding of the complexities of NF.
